Nobody knows when love will hit them, it gets to you around the corner, it happens when you least expect it and you never saw it coming. One minute you may be best friends but the next, you see the other as the most perfect man in the world. or at least the nearest perfect there is.
I have never had that luck with guys, either i get the wrong ones or i fall for the hard-to-get ones. All my past 18 years and bla bla months of life on this earth, i've realised that love doesn't just drop on your doorstep. You can't simply wish for it, it's not a fairy tale. Life is cruel that way. but the same philosophy goes with grades, we can't easily get a grade A on our report by just watching TV and playing video games, we all slave for it or a little for the smart ass ones. You can't do that with love though, No matter how hard you may try. My teacher has a friend who at the age of 23 or so, made a checklist of what to do, what kind of guy she is searching for and where to go to get them etc. etc. etc. Now she's 43++ and she still hasn't got the guy of her dreams.
Love don't just happen just because you work for it, it happens when it's supposed to. You can't control these things but what you can do, is make yourself happy and become a better person until the perfect guy comes along...
