Leaving Halloween Horrors

Yes, sorry if anyone was expecting to hear more about it from me but i have decided that i am not going to involve myself in this HH2011 anymore. Though i really want to go but my studies are at sake at i can't abandon my studies.

too bad i am not going to be scaring anyone anymore...

Poly life for me so far

I have learnt things never before in my life that i will ever know. Polytechnic life isn't what you think it would be you know.
Before i came in to poly to start the 'new chapter' of my life, i've always thought the poly life is gonna be easy. A piece of cake, that you are going to breeze through. Well i thought wrong. IT IS NOT A PIECE OF CAKE BUT PIECE OF SHIT. There's work to do every single minute of every single day of your life that will only end the minute exam finishes. I hope i will survive this chaos because if not, i am going to be swallowed up by the whole damned thing called 'real struggles of life'- school version.

What i have learnt from poly life is this:
- no Procrastinating. Cause if you do, things will never get done and you will end up stresser than you ever thought was possible
- Take care to do projects and tutorial properly because they are still part of your exam percentage
- Take care of yourself and eat the right food to increase your memory as well as keep you healthy to be able to study. Eat the junk foods only when you start your holiday.

Also, things may be hard in school and you're gonna have to study evry single minute but you have to give yourself time to relax, time for yourself.

Choose the right team mates for projects, ones you can get along with and also, be able to focus on the group's goals, that is the key to success for projects.

Days are getting packed

Exams are coming soon which is next month on the 23rd August 2011. This week, and perhaps the next 2 weeks or so, my lecturers will definitely increase their speed of teaching. It is quite sad really that school term is but only 8 weeks but seem like 4. Time is passing by very quickly and i am using most of my every single minute studying. Minus breaks, bathing and eating time of course. Schedule is still going to be packed and i hope holidays will come fast which is on the 1st Septmeber so i can finally relax from school work. Watch the movies i want to watch and read the books i want to read...

Free time, i miss you so much....

Boring Saturday

Saturdays in my opinion are supposed to be fun but here i am typing away in my living room, the wind from the window on my right blowing lightly, playing with my hair. I should be out right now and maybe walk around my block but i am sooo lazy.... i just went back to school for a halloween horrors briefing because i am accepted to be a scare actor :) But it was really awkward becuase i know no one around there. No worries though because there is going to be a camp and i'll get to maybe make a friend. :)

Anyways... back to the topic at hand, i am extremely bored AND hungry. I need FOOD. So later i'll go buy long john silvers cause i've been craving for it since this morning and maybe watch a movie. But first i have to finish a topic on Principles of Management which is thankfully, only a page long. THEN i'll go buy my food.

I've learnt to not procrastinate you know.. When you procrastinate, things get worse.

Plus, because i am desperate to accumalate CCA Points, i had to find a CCA that i have at least a certain amount of interest in since mentoring don't want me (hmph!) i sent an email to environment club! And they accepted me! And then i went to my poly's website and saw that there was a sport elective ranging from Tennis, squash, inline skating and Canoeing to Yoga, swimming and jogging!!! There were many choices and i have decided to go with Yoga! Plus, i can get 4 CCA Points when i complete it. Yoga do not require the sun and it helps to destress AND it looks interesting but i don't know how to do it. Also, those who do yoga stay young longer! Yes, i am age conscious.

Then there are self management talks i can attend that also gives CCA points :) but i've to wait for an email about a question.
Also, there's this children programme that helps them improve their english as they do not speak english at home. CIP hours can be earned and recorded in CCA points :)
Halloween Horrors are also giving CCA Points you know :)

The reason i am so desperate to get CCA points is to have a life other than my studies and i need to have at least a silver for my CCA Points to get into a University provided they are going to consider letting me enrol in that particular university i want to get into. So luck have to be on my side if i want to continue having both good GPA and CCA points/life

Detective team!!!

HAHAHA!!! another new member is the Patrick Jane from Mentalist!! You know, when i first watched Mentalist and found out that his name was 'Jane', i was quite shocked. Well, it's a girl's name... You got to let me be a bit surprised can't you? now, back to my team of detectives!!!
Yes, this team got together and tries to solve a BIG murder case.... It'll be sooo cool if that happens and then fans from every show will come together to watch!!!!
But then again, Shawn Spencer from Psych and Jane from Mentalist will have to be ANIME version cause, let's face it, It will be better if Anime stick to their anime faces than get some person acting as our beloved anime heroes.
Hope at least that shinichi, Heiji Hattori and Kindaichi at least get together for a murder episode. That'd be sooo COOOOOOOOOOOOLL....

The GREAT detective team of all time

Shinichi is sooo adorably handsome, cute, suave and sexy with an incredibly high intellect!! He is soooo damned SEXY!!!!!!!!! i know that he is just an anime character but still, his charactersistic and whole persona really captured my vulnerable heart!!!! I just watched episode 523 and oh! my beating heart!
Shinichi and Hattori are soo cool when they solve cases. Both look so damned sexy especially Shinichi....
so this got me thinking... What if Shinichi and a few other smart minds come together to form a temporary team for a VERY BIG case?

Tired...

It's getting more and more difficult to juggle my time nowadays... I've topics to study before 18 August comes because when that date arrives, it means the commencing of my mid semestral examination. It is quite sad really, that i have a lot of projects as well as studies on my hand that i barely have time anymore for my hobbies like reading books as well as watching movies. I watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S only now, no movies. Because movies take a lot of time and books too, which i really want to read but that just means another thing to do on my to-do-list which therefore ends up frustrating me.
So for now, my focus are on my studies and praying that i will finish studying most of my topics before my examination so i will not get flustered again (read previous posts) like crazy for my exams. Then once my one and a half months holiday comes, i can watch all the movies and books i want.
I will persevere! i've to endure this storm to see the rainbow :)
May my will stay strong. I can do this. I hope i can do this :) Ganbatte!!! Jia You!!! Don't give up!!

Results from my previous examinations

Here is a brief of the grades i had gotten for my modules:

Principles of Management - Distinction
Events Management Communications - B+
Events Materials Decoration - Distinction
IT for Events Application - Distinction
Law I - B+
Events Experience - Not determined yet because it is a year long module

My opinion? I  deserved the marks for POM and EMD but not much for IT. I practiced only a bit and am lucky for the grade i had gotten. For Law, it was the best i could do because i do not understand it easily but was able to do so with my friends and textbook's help. Events management communication, i should have gotten at least an A because i did a lot of research but am still grateful for the results i had gotten. The next assestment for it though is worst cause it is a press release( recently concluded which i can surely say i got a C or B-) and there will be a promotional brochure to be done... Hope i pass this.

Did not get the spot in mentoring

it is really very sad... I did not get the spot in the CCA Mentoring... Even a girl who got rejected at first had another email sent to her that she got in due to additional spots left. Guess i was one of the most bottomost people who will not get a chance in this CCA. I am extremely sad that i did not get in.
Interviews seem to not like me... They hate soo much that they do not want to see me ever getting that place i'm interviewing for. THEY JUST HATE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would also like to just say that the interviewers who interviewed me did not decide properly. YOU DID NOT MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION. YOU ALL MADE THE WRONG DECISION. I HATE YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR RUINING MY ONLY HOPE OF A CCA THAT I WILL LOVE SOOO MUCH!!!!!!! YOU ALL RUINED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! IN POLY
Maybe i did not give a good and lasting impression but i deserve a second chance to show you how good i am.
