Stop Staring Dude

I recently purchased a DSLR, my first one in fact, and what better to make use of it than when you attend an event? So Jasmine and i packed our bags and headed out to Orchard Road to attend a cosplay event and i dare say that it was the best cosplay event i've ever been to considering i've never been to one before. (teehee)

Halfway through taking countless photos, i reached a certain one piece couple who looked too cute to not take a photo of them. And this was when the weirdness started: See that guy in green hair? HE NEVER STOPPED STARING AT ME.

Well duh, i was taking his photos but it was after i was already done doing so and had already put down my camera. He continued looking at me even when Jasmine wanted to take his photo too that i felt the creeps.

(Jasmine's photo) At least the girl looked at Jasmine's direction

After Jasmine and i walked away, he kept staring at me whenever i was walking nearby (the event area is pretty small) I felt seriously uncomfortable...

Anyways, he got me thinking whether he was attracted to me or there was something on my face... But if he WAS attracted to me, he should have asked for my number or something instead of stare! Okay maybe i should have smiled at him to give him the green light, hmm...

Anyways, this is one thing i don't really like about Singaporean guys, they take too long to approach a girl they like. They take months and sometimes even NEVER to ask a girl out. Maybe in bars or something they are more daring than normal but other than that? ehem...

Back in secondary school, i had this classmate Gerald who liked Sally. Sally knew Gerald likes her cuz everyone has been talking about his crush on her, the guys have been telling her, the girls have ALSO been talking to her about it but NOOOO this stewpid Gerald still have not asked her out. What the frulala is wrong with him you might say. Others would say, ohhh he's shy... soo cute... NO! Does being shy get you the girl? Does being quiet about it get YOU the girl? When you do NOTHING, do you get the gal??? A FREAKING NO!!!!! In the end, he didn't get the girl, I THINK cuz i've never tuned in to this kind of news. Or she wasn't interested in him when he really did confess (i don't think he did).

This is why i prefer American guys, they dare to tell you how they feel about you, they are forward about it (plus, they're cuter) but here in Singapore, even though the guys here have been a LITTLE westernised, they're still not THERE yet. Even in the pick up lines Singaporean men lose out, why the frulala hell would you keep saying "oh you look tan, do you do sports?" and then immediately "Can i have your number?"

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??

Talking about another weird encounter, one time, i took part in a cycling event which took place throughout the night called Fix a Night Ride. When we reached our destination, everyone took a break to sit on the fresh grass, once i sat down, this psycho guy whom i talked only briefly to (like hows the day etc.) just sat in front of me and stared. With no intention of starting a conversation. He continued staring at me until i moved away to sit with a bunch of girls because i was just too uncomfortable. I was pretty freaked out....

Is there something wrong with me? Is there some kind of printing on my forehead that says "ONLY PSYCHOS NEED APPLY, THE NORMAL CUTE ONES BUZZ OFF"???

Once, i smiled at a guy in school  who was playing the cello, he saw me smile at him, paused a while and looked down fumbling with his cello. arrrgggggghhhhhhhhh......
