To My Dearest Teacher

Here's a poem to you

from a soft spoken fan

a moment of truth

something something jam

Well, as you can see

I've nought a skill

this literature dream

all but a thrill

But I'm putting my heart

to this so called poem

So then let us kickstart

this poetic moment

I will begin first 

with a hundred thank yous

for this and all the times

words you emphasised not to misuse

Much beyond that

you've nurtured and managed

students weak and strong

to embrace this language

So once and for all

I'm eternally grateful

for you were the one

who brought the fun to school
