Fifty Shades of Grey

Yes, i bought fifty shades of grey a few months ago and i'm not actually that impressed. I've never got past the first few chapters because it was all too boring. They didn't immediately start dating or fall in love, they had some lame agreement or something and although it was enticing in the beginning, the excitement kind of died out. The literary aspects are damned lousy, she can't write a good book, i wanted to SLEEP!!!

Especially the sex part, which i flipped to cuz everything was so boooooriiiinnnnggggg, i didn't enjoy reading at all, the material was tasteless. Maybe it's me cuz i don't really like the whipping and stuff and i like to see some REAL courtship plus,  i'm more the 'toys' kind of girl ^^  And if i ever had to choose between this book and porn, i'd seriously choose the latter.

My friends have all gone to Australia, not all but most of them. There was a study trip to Australia which included classmates and friends as well as another friend who stayed in Australia for a month. I'm awfully jealous of them!!!! I wanna go to Australia and see the scenery and experience the life there...

All these photos are by a friend, Nadia, she went for a whole month! I am sooooo jelly right now!

Isn't it all beautiful?? I'm soo freaking jealous of all they have experienced <3

and here's the food:

I want to enjoy all these things as well, to the land down under!

One of my friends even had this facebook status update:
missin' Australia :) miss it's everything, it's weather, it's scenery.. and it goes on and on and on..

So i have decided to search for a scholarship to study in Australia and hopefully, i can find one :)
Either that or save some money while doing my research to vacation and one day, migrate there... My friends said that they focus on a balanced life and it's kind of something i want for myself and my future family... Definitely, i love my Singapore but you have to leave home once in a while to realise just how much you love it and how much it means to you. Life is to be lived and i want to live it before i'm too old to experience anything much...

So i've been trying hard to get fantastic co curricular activities (CCA) points for my graduation testimonial. The only reason for me to continue striving real hard for my CCA sub committees are related to my being in SPOT. It's a program which i'm in that actually nurtures students to become leaders, communicators and humanitarians. I'm fantastic at being a humanitarian but not the rest.

You see, i know in my heart that i'm not the leader material and when given the choice, i'd rather relax and follow than lead. But at times, when i see things are not working, too slow or none too smoothly, i'm always tempted to tell people what to do. Thats when the difficulty comes in. I cant talk to save my life. I cant. I fumble and bumble (whatever the hell that is) and speak nonsensical stuff and stumble on my words. I dont know why but im scared they'll hate me for it. Plus, i'm always nervous from that.

So i got in to SPOT after much interviewing practice with my sister who is fantastic BTW and got in. I gotta tell you this, the interview consisted of bringing a newspaper article and talking about it bla bla bla. It was hell scary but i got in anyway due to my sister's help :)

Unfortunately, once i got in, i realised one small detail that was revealed a little later on. That i have to have leadership points in my testimonial or i will not get the SPOT cert that says i was a part of it once before. SOOOOOO i have to have a CCA that brings me to to leadership potential WHICH leads me to the 2 CCAs commitment that i have now. Funny my life seems to be circled around "whatever i want, i eventually get"

Really! The moment i realised i needed something, opportunities immediately opened up. Like the moment that announcement came to me that i had to have leadership points, 2 weeks later, announcements from my two CCAs told me about an opening for their subcommittes (being in sub committees get you Leadership points, being in the main committee gets you more) which i applied into. I got into both.

Then i searched for community service opportunities which is easy to find... Sooner than later, i'm gonna get what i need. The perfect testimonial. Still, there are many obstacles which even thinking about it makes me tired and want to go to sleep (i feel sleepy whenever i'm stress so you must understand my torture during exam periods).  One of the obstacles is about Leadership.

I need to be able to up my leadership skills or i'm going down with my testimonial right behind me.

I remember the peaceful balcony area back in my secondary school. We have six floors and the balcony was situated towards the rear of the building. There, 4 big pots which mini palm trees or something stood tall separated a few feet from each other. The area was quite small but just enough for me to sit there by myself. I remember the first time i was up there.

It was early morning around 6.30am or so where i had to be at school for assembly blah blah blah and i was up at the top balcony cause i was needing some peace and quiet plus, there was a light breeze and serenity in the air which i was seeking. I like to be alone where i just rearrange my thoughts, actually none of that at all. All i would do is just sit there with nothing on my mind with the occasional side tracking of thoughts about what ifs and stuff but towards the end, i dont really think about the present. All i would seek for while sitting there alone is peace and quiet. Thats all i want.

Stop Staring Dude

I recently purchased a DSLR, my first one in fact, and what better to make use of it than when you attend an event? So Jasmine and i packed our bags and headed out to Orchard Road to attend a cosplay event and i dare say that it was the best cosplay event i've ever been to considering i've never been to one before. (teehee)

Halfway through taking countless photos, i reached a certain one piece couple who looked too cute to not take a photo of them. And this was when the weirdness started: See that guy in green hair? HE NEVER STOPPED STARING AT ME.

Well duh, i was taking his photos but it was after i was already done doing so and had already put down my camera. He continued looking at me even when Jasmine wanted to take his photo too that i felt the creeps.

(Jasmine's photo) At least the girl looked at Jasmine's direction

After Jasmine and i walked away, he kept staring at me whenever i was walking nearby (the event area is pretty small) I felt seriously uncomfortable...

Anyways, he got me thinking whether he was attracted to me or there was something on my face... But if he WAS attracted to me, he should have asked for my number or something instead of stare! Okay maybe i should have smiled at him to give him the green light, hmm...

Anyways, this is one thing i don't really like about Singaporean guys, they take too long to approach a girl they like. They take months and sometimes even NEVER to ask a girl out. Maybe in bars or something they are more daring than normal but other than that? ehem...

Back in secondary school, i had this classmate Gerald who liked Sally. Sally knew Gerald likes her cuz everyone has been talking about his crush on her, the guys have been telling her, the girls have ALSO been talking to her about it but NOOOO this stewpid Gerald still have not asked her out. What the frulala is wrong with him you might say. Others would say, ohhh he's shy... soo cute... NO! Does being shy get you the girl? Does being quiet about it get YOU the girl? When you do NOTHING, do you get the gal??? A FREAKING NO!!!!! In the end, he didn't get the girl, I THINK cuz i've never tuned in to this kind of news. Or she wasn't interested in him when he really did confess (i don't think he did).

This is why i prefer American guys, they dare to tell you how they feel about you, they are forward about it (plus, they're cuter) but here in Singapore, even though the guys here have been a LITTLE westernised, they're still not THERE yet. Even in the pick up lines Singaporean men lose out, why the frulala hell would you keep saying "oh you look tan, do you do sports?" and then immediately "Can i have your number?"

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??

Talking about another weird encounter, one time, i took part in a cycling event which took place throughout the night called Fix a Night Ride. When we reached our destination, everyone took a break to sit on the fresh grass, once i sat down, this psycho guy whom i talked only briefly to (like hows the day etc.) just sat in front of me and stared. With no intention of starting a conversation. He continued staring at me until i moved away to sit with a bunch of girls because i was just too uncomfortable. I was pretty freaked out....

Is there something wrong with me? Is there some kind of printing on my forehead that says "ONLY PSYCHOS NEED APPLY, THE NORMAL CUTE ONES BUZZ OFF"???

Once, i smiled at a guy in school  who was playing the cello, he saw me smile at him, paused a while and looked down fumbling with his cello. arrrgggggghhhhhhhhh......

Some people should be nicer
than be some bitch
what it makes me feel
is throw them to the ditch

i've never felt more hurt
nor more sad
when they say mean stuff
when they're mad

it's not right
to do these things
it makes you low
cause your words stings

you may act like you're helping
or 'maybe' that is your intention
but actually in true fact
YOU should be getting intervention

you're evil
like the satan's spawn
what's more
is you look like one

i wish you're dead
i wish you have no future
but karma's gonna deal with you
do you get it loser?

Troubles

you're supposed to give guidance
to those who need it
not trample them to the ground
nor throw them to the pit

you shouldn't be alive
giving misery to all
and should i be honest
everyone wish to see you fall

you're nothing but a pain in the ass
like a splinter we can't get rid
a worthless piece of junk
 to be alive? god forbid!

Oh yeah... I bought CARLSBERG alright~~~ (for $2.50, pretty expensive in my opinion)

Just now, i was out with my friends and we went into a supermart for a while to buy some tidbits when we went into a wine section. Then suddenly the topic went to beer and i now have a desire to try them. I had my first cocktail in March 2012, yep this year. It was soo cool, i was on the Singapore Airlines where my friend had actually told me to get a 'Singapore Sling' if you are on their plane. So i asked for it! :) My 'bargin' :))) (Which by the way, didnt cost anything of course)

It was great! My first cocktail is called Singapore Sling and my first beer shall be Carlsberg :)

Singapore Sling was bitter which i'm sure like most or all (i think) cocktails are...  It had this fruity taste as well, can't remember what though, so long ago~

Still, i was a lil high afterwards, my heartbeat went extremely fast! At first i was sleepy after drinking, which was alright since i was on the plane with my classmates and schoolmates as well as 4 lecturers which amounted to more 60+ people... Then after take down, i was wide awake and a little high but afterwards i was 'normal' again which was good since my father, sister and youngest brother came to get me. PHEW! When i secretly told my sis, she was jealous of course cuz she haven't had her 'bargin' taken yet :)

I'll be trying this CARLSBERG probably the best beer in the world (The catchphrase is forever inside my head) later, will tell ya about it soon, gotta go BYE :D

UPDATE THE NEXT MORNING: I HATE IT, TASTES LIKE PISS (NOT that i tried that before but STILL) It tastes ridiculous!!!! I hate beer!

Everyone had a chance to go back to Teck Whye Sceondary School for teachers day and i got to see my favourite teachers, my beloved teachers :)))
Firstly, let me introduce to you MDM PUA LEE TOO

She is my top favourite teacher besides Miss Ang, my english teacher. Mdm Pua had me grow outside my comfort zone and i am so thankful for that. She is ever so caring, LOVE HER!!!
Here is Miss Ang, she is ever so beautiful and she lost a lot of weight cuz of stress but she is still SOOOOOO PRETTY!!!!! <3<3<3
And to guys out there, contact me if you wanna go out with her! I may have to screen you through first to see if you're the guy for her ^^v She is so caring, considerate, smart, sassy, humorous (i love her sarcastic jokes) and she is soooooooo beautiful!!!!!!!!
Now on to my next teacher, Mdm Tong.
here she is, my math teacher. She is very fuuunny when she teach and very cute! Although my math was terrible to the core, she still had the patience to continue teaching. SHE SHOULD SERIOUSLY WIN AN AWARD FOR THAT BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE WERE EXASPERATED WITH ME FOR BEING SUCH A NITWIT WITH MATH.
Now, my Science Chemistry Teacher!!!
Sorry guys, she is TAKEN!!!!!
Students in School have to call her Mrs Lim but we are still in the habit of calling her Miss Lim but she said it was okay since it had been years and we are already used to it plus she will then be able to differentiate the 'old batch' from the 'new' batch :)))
TEACHERS DAY 2012 ROCKED AND I'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK NEXT YEAR, WAIT 4 ME!!!! :D
